a new school year tends to bring so many other new things.. i wanted to get them all onto one page. i used a posed first day of school photo paired with instagrams taking on the first day and while school shopping to help round out the story.

since i opted to use a slightly busy background, i kept the design of the page fairly simple. i added a few layered tabs and labels alongside two of my photos, and used some layered diecut frames to house the title.
